I already work hard in practice. Why do I need mindset coaching?
Because your body already knows how to run the pattern — it's your brain and nervous system that get in the way at the gate. Mindset coaching trains the part of you that panics, overthinks, or shuts down under pressure. Practice sharpens skill; this sharpens execution. Will this really help me stop overthinking my run?
Yes — the Be BRaVe system gives you a repeatable routine (Breathe, Reset word, Visualize) that quiets the noise in your head. You'll have simple tools you can use in the warm-up pen, at the gate, and between runs. Let's hop on a discovery call so I can walk you through how it works.
I get nervous / shaky / sick before I run. Can you fix that?
Those aren't character flaws — those are nervous system responses, and they can absolutely be trained. We'll work on regulating your body BEFORE calming your mind, because you can't out-think a dysregulated nervous system. Book a call and let's talk about what you're feeling before a run.
What if I've had a rough season and I'm losing confidence?
You're not broken — you're stuck in a loop. Confidence isn't something you wait to feel; it's something we rebuild through evidence and reps in your brain. This is one of the most common reasons athletes come to me. Book a discovery call and we'll map a way out.
Do I have to be a barrel racer? What events do you work with?
Nope. Barrels, breakaway, poles, team roping, tie-down, saddle bronc, bulls — the brain doesn't care what event you run. The mental game is the same. Jump on a free call and tell me about your event.

I'm a rodeo mom too. These are the questions I hear from parents in the passenger seat the most.
My kid doesn't want to talk about it. Will they even open up to you?
Most of them don't at first — and that's okay. I'm not their parent, I'm a rodeo mom who's been where you are, and I meet them where they're at. Kids talk to me about things they'd never say at the dinner table. Book a discovery call and we can even do it together the first time.
How involved am I as the parent?
As involved as you want to be. Some parents sit in on the first call, some grab the Raising Resilient Rodeo Athletes workbook to work in parallel, and some step back completely so their athlete has a private space. We'll talk about the right fit on our discovery call.
Is this therapy? Are you a licensed counselor?
Great question — no, this is not therapy and I'm not a licensed therapist. This is mental performance coaching focused on nervous system regulation, focus, and execution under pressure. If deeper support is needed, I'll always tell you. Let's hop on a call and I can explain the difference clearly.
Is my athlete too young — or too old — for this?
I work with rodeo athletes from junior high through college. If they're old enough to feel pressure at the gate, they're old enough to learn tools for it. Book a free consultation and we'll figure out if it's the right season for them.
What kind of results should we realistically expect in 6 weeks?
Most athletes leave with a repeatable pre-run routine, better emotional recovery between runs, and a clearer head at the gate. I don't promise wins — I promise your kid will finally have tools they own for the rest of their career. Let's talk about your athlete specifically on a discovery call.

Logistics & The Program

What exactly is included in the 6-week program?
Six weeks of one-on-one coaching calls, the full Be BRaVe system, SAM HABITS training for daily nervous system regulation, between-session support, and custom pre-run routines built for YOUR athlete's event and personality. Book a discovery call and I'll walk you through it week by week.
Are the sessions in person or virtual?
Virtual — over Zoom — which means we can work around hauling schedules, jackpots, and long weekends on the road. Athletes have jumped on calls from hotel rooms and horse trailers. Grab a discovery call slot and we'll find times that actually fit your season.
How long is each session and how often do we meet?
We meet weekly for about 45–60 minutes, plus you'll have between-session messaging access to me for those "it just happened at the gate" moments. Let's talk on a discovery call about what a typical week looks like.
What does it cost?
Investment is discussed on the discovery call so I can make sure it's actually the right fit before we talk numbers. I never want a parent paying for something their athlete isn't ready for. Book a free call and we'll get honest about it.
What happens on the free discovery call?
About 20–30 minutes, zero pressure. You (or your athlete, or both) tell me what's happening at the gate, I tell you honestly whether I can help, and we go from there. No hype, no fluff — just a real conversation. Grab a time below.

Then we say so. I'd rather refer you to someone better suited than keep you in a program that isn't clicking. That's exactly why the discovery call exists — book one and let's make sure it's a fit BEFORE you commit.
